At the Dublin Chocolate factory last week, the uber talented Lia Cowan unveiled her Autumn/Winter 22 collection ‘Undisciplined Tulips’ launched to wide acclaim in the Irish fashion industry. To help showcase her new collection, our Upfront Models took to the runway in an array of her wonderful styles.

Who is Lia Cowan?

Lia is an artist and award winning designer whose mixed Jewish and Irish heritage has opened a portal where inspiration threads are spun from folklore and mysticism. Lia’s approach to design is like that of an artist. Diverse themes are researched, explored, and responded to. Her sculptural background informs and adds yet another layer to the work, through silhouette, movement, and performance. All her pieces are designed and hand made in her Dublin studio.

Lia is one of the big names on the Irish design scene and has won the Winner of a Future makers award 21 and the inaugural Longines Irish Champions Young Designer Award. Already she has a celebrity following including Bridgerton and Derry Girls star, Nicola Coughlan.
